The mission of the Technology Transfer Division is to build an effective interaction among stockholders, researchers and extension personnel in order to facilitate the development and promotion of sustainable technologies in the coconut sector.
Current Programs in the Division
- Two ways channeling of technology and information to/from stakeholders via various publications, mass media etc
- Acquire information from stakeholders about their technology needs and production problems through (a) diagnostic surveys with stakeholders, (b) research forums with stakeholders on different technical areas, (c) research and extension dialogues and (d) advisory field visits on specific field problems
- Conduct studies to assess the impact of technologies at the growers’ level
- Provide growers with current market information
